Shivraj Singh Chouhan Opens Free Coaching Centre in Vidisha for Students

Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has inaugurated a free coaching centre in Vidisha to help students prepare for competitive examinations. The initiative aims to support economically weaker students who aspire to crack national and state-level entrance and recruitment exams.

The coaching centre has been launched in Madhya Pradesh’s Vidisha district and will provide free guidance, study material and academic support to students preparing for various competitive examinations.

Free Coaching Centre in Vidisha Launched for Competitive Exams

According to reports, the newly launched coaching centre will help students prepare for examinations including:

  • UPSC
  • State PSC exams
  • SSC recruitment exams
  • Banking exams
  • Other government competitive examinations

The initiative is expected to benefit students from rural and economically disadvantaged backgrounds who often struggle to access quality coaching facilities due to financial constraints.

Shivraj Singh Chouhan Highlights Education Support

During the inauguration event, Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that talented students should not be deprived of opportunities due to lack of resources. He reportedly emphasised that education and competitive exam preparation support are important for empowering youth and improving employment opportunities. The Union Minister also interacted with students during the programme and encouraged them to actively utilise the free coaching facilities.

Facilities Available at the Coaching Centre

The coaching centre is expected to provide:

  • Experienced faculty support
  • Free classroom coaching
  • Study material
  • Test series and mock exams
  • Career counselling sessions

Officials stated that efforts will be made to ensure quality academic guidance similar to private coaching institutes.

Competitive Exam Coaching Demand Rising in Smaller Cities

The demand for competitive exam coaching facilities has increased significantly in tier-2 and tier-3 cities over the last few years. Rising participation in government recruitment examinations and entrance tests has pushed several state governments and organisations to launch subsidised or free coaching initiatives. Education experts believe such centres can help bridge the accessibility gap for students from rural areas who cannot afford expensive coaching institutes in metro cities. Madhya Pradesh has also seen increasing participation in UPSC, SSC and state-level recruitment examinations in recent years.

How Students Can Benefit from the Free Coaching Centre?

Students interested in joining the coaching programme may need to complete a registration or screening process depending on seat availability and course structure. The centre is expected to release further details regarding:

  • Admission process
  • Batch timings
  • Eligibility conditions
  • Available courses
  • Registration dates

Students have been advised to follow local administration announcements for official updates.

Education Initiatives Continue to Expand Across States

Several state governments and public representatives have recently launched educational support programmes focusing on:

  • Competitive exam preparation
  • Skill development
  • Scholarship support
  • Digital learning access

Experts say such initiatives can improve opportunities for students from underserved regions and increase participation in higher education and public sector recruitment.
