Eligibility Criteria for SET 2026
Candidates must have passed the 10+2 (or its equivalent) from a recognized board with a minimum of 50% marks (for general category). For SC/ST candidates, the minimum is 45%. The eligibility applies across various undergraduate courses offered by Symbiosis, including BA, BSc (Honours), BCA and others.
Exam Pattern & Format
SET 2026 will be a computer-based test (online mode), conducted once a year. It will consist of 60 questions, covering four sections. The total duration is 60 minutes; there will be no negative marking.
- Analytical & Logical Reasoning: 12 questions
- General Awareness / Current Affairs: 16 questions
- General English: 16 questions
- Quantitative: 16 questions (Total: 60 questions / 60 marks)
After the online test, shortlisted candidates will undertake a Written Ability Test (WAT) followed by a Personal Interview (PI) for final admission.
Application & Correction Process
Candidates will register via the official SET portal. Steps include registering, filling the form, uploading documents and paying the application fee. A correction window will open in April for editing details (except exam city preference and admission category).
