The Phase 1 examination is scheduled to be conducted on 10 January 2026 in two shifts across designated examination centres in India.
SEBI Grade A Phase 1 Exam Schedule and Shift Timings
The Securities and Exchange Board of India will conduct the SEBI Grade A Phase 1 examination in computer-based test (CBT) mode. The exam will be held in two shifts to accommodate a large number of registered candidates. Candidates must strictly adhere to the reporting time mentioned on their admit cards, as entry to the examination centre will not be permitted after the gate closing time.

- Shift 2: Reporting Time – 12:00 PM | Exam Time – 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM
Candidates will be allowed entry into the examination centre approximately one hour before the commencement of their respective shifts for security checks and identity verification.
SEBI Grade A Exam Date 2026 and Recruitment Overview
As per the official schedule, the SEBI Grade A Phase 1 exam will be conducted on 10 January 2026, while the Phase 2 examination is scheduled for 21 February 2026. The recruitment drive is being conducted to fill 135 Assistant Manager (Grade A) vacancies across multiple streams, including General, Legal, Information Technology, Research, Engineering, and Official Language.
