SAIL Recruitment 2025 Notification Released for 124 Management Trainee (Technical) posts on 15 November 2025. The Steel Authority of India Limited has invited applications from eligible engineering graduates for E1-grade MT positions. The online application window will remain open till 05 December 2025.

The recruitment drive includes vacancies in major disciplines such as Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Metallurgy, Civil, Computer, and Instrumentation. The selection process will include a Computer Based Test, followed by Group Discussion and Interview.

SAIL MT Recruitment 2025 Exam Pattern

The CBT will be conducted for 200 marks and will include two sections. The pattern helps candidates understand the structure of the exam and plan preparation accordingly.

• Part 1 – Domain Knowledge Test
  • Duration: 40 minutes
  • Marks: 100
• Part 2 – Aptitude Test
  • Duration: 80 minutes
  • Marks: 100 divided into:
    • Quantitative Aptitude – 25
    • English Language – 25
    • Reasoning – 25
    • General Awareness – 25

SAIL MT Recruitment 2025 Salary and Emoluments

Selected candidates will receive a Basic Pay of INR 50,000 per month during the training period under the pay scale INR 50,000–1,60,000. After successful completion of the 1-year training, candidates will be appointed as Assistant Manager (E1 Grade) with a pay scale of INR 60,000–1,80,000. They will also receive Dearness Allowance and additional benefits as per SAIL rules.
