Russian Educational Agency Opens New Delhi Branch to Aid Students

The Russian Educational Agency has formally opened its branch in New Delhi to strengthen academic, cultural, and scientific cooperation between India and Russia. The new office is a joint initiative of Synergy Corporation and Innopraktika India and aims to support Indian students seeking higher education opportunities in Russian universities. The agency will function as a one-stop support centre for Indian students aspiring to study in Russia. It will assist with university selection, admission procedures, visa guidance, and documentation, making the overseas education process more accessible and structured.

Support Centre for Indian Students Planning to Study in Russia

The New Delhi office has been set up to provide direct guidance and personalised counselling to students. Experts at the centre will help students identify suitable degree programmes, understand eligibility requirements, and complete admission formalities smoothly. In addition to academic guidance, the agency will also offer assistance with visas and pre-departure formalities, which often pose challenges for students planning to study abroad. The initiative is expected to significantly reduce procedural barriers and improve student confidence while applying to Russian institutions.

Statement from Synergy Corporation Leadership

Vadim Lobov, President of Synergy Corporation, highlighted the historical link between Indian students and Russian universities. He stated that many Indian graduates from Russian institutions have evolved into “true ambassadors of friendship between the two nations”. He further noted that Russian universities, as successors of the Soviet higher education system, continue to enjoy strong global recognition, particularly in India. The new agency, he said, will carry forward this academic legacy by helping the next generation of Indian students access quality education in Russia.

Expansion Plans and Student Targets for Two Thousand Twenty-Six

The Russian Educational Agency has outlined aggressive expansion plans in India. As per official announcement:

  • New branches will open in Mumbai and Chennai in two thousand twenty-six
  • The agency plans to send over ten thousand Indian students to Russian universities in the coming year
  • Partnerships will continue with leading higher education institutions across Russia

These steps are expected to deepen educational collaboration and widen access to medical, IT, engineering, and science programmes, which traditionally attract high interest from Indian students.

Promotion of Russian Language and Culture in Indian Schools

Beyond admissions, the agency will also focus on cultural and language outreach. Special programmes will be organised for school students to introduce them to Russian language, culture, and education systems at an early stage. The first interactive cultural session titled “Bridge of Friendship: Russia and India” has already been conducted in Delhi schools with participation from over one thousand students. More such programmes are scheduled in the coming months to promote early exposure to Russian education and cultural exchange.
