RSSB Lab Assistant Recruitment 2026 Released for 804 Posts

RSSB Lab Assistant Recruitment 2026 has been officially announced by the Rajasthan Staff Selection Board. The recruitment drive aims to fill 804 vacancies for Lab Assistant and Junior Lab Assistant posts in Science and Geography subjects across the state. Candidates who successfully completed the registration process can now check the examination schedule and begin preparations for the written test, which will be conducted in offline mode.

 

RSSB Lab Assistant Exam Date 2026 and Schedule

As per the official notification released by the board, the RSSB Lab Assistant examination 2026 will be conducted in May 2026 using OMR-based answer sheets. The subject-wise exam dates are provided below. The Geography paper will be held on 9 May 2026, while the Science paper is scheduled for 10 May 2026. The examination will be conducted at multiple centres across various districts of Rajasthan. All questions in the written examination will be objective type, and candidates must report to the examination centre strictly as per the reporting time mentioned on their admit cards.

 

RSSB Lab Assistant Admit Card 2026 Details

The RSSB Lab Assistant admit card 2026 will be released a few days before the examination on the board’s official website. Candidates will be required to download the hall ticket using their registration credentials. On the exam day, candidates must carry a printed copy of the admit card along with a valid photo identity proof. Entry to the examination centre will not be permitted without these documents.

 

RSSB Lab Assistant Exam Pattern and Selection Process

The written examination will test candidates on subject-specific knowledge, general knowledge, and basic knowledge of Rajasthan. The detailed syllabus and marking scheme are available in the official recruitment notification. The selection process consists of a written examination followed by document verification. There will be no interview round, and the final merit list will be prepared solely on the basis of marks obtained in the written test. Candidates shortlisted after the exam will be required to present original documents related to educational qualifications, age, category, and eligibility criteria during verification.
