RRB Technician Exam 2026 Last Day: Check Important Updates

The RRB Technician 2026 Exam is scheduled to conclude today, October 9, 2026. The Railway Recruitment Board is holding the Computer-Based Test (CBT) for Technician Grade I Signal and Technician Grade III posts across exam centres in India. If you are appearing for the final day, check your admit card for the reporting time, shift details, and exam centre address.

The recruitment drive is being conducted under CEN 02/2026 to fill 6,557 vacancies. The examination has been scheduled over four days, from October 6 to October 9. You should follow the instructions printed on your e-call letter and reach the centre within the reporting time.

Is the RRB Technician Exam Ending Today?

Yes, October 9 is the last scheduled date for the current RRB Technician 2026 CBT. However, you should check your individual admit card because your exam may have taken place on an earlier date.

Here are the main details of the examination.

The schedule covers both Technician categories. If your exam is scheduled for today, use your e-call letter as the final source for your shift and reporting details.

What Should You Check Before Going to the Exam Centre?

If you are appearing for today's examination, keep your documents ready and review the instructions before leaving home.

Use this checklist to avoid last-minute problems:

• Admit card: Carry a printed copy of your e-call letter.
• Photo identity proof: Bring the original ID mentioned in your application.
• Reporting time: Reach the centre before the reporting deadline printed on your admit card.
• Exam centre: Check the complete address and plan your route in advance.
• Prohibited items: Follow the instructions about mobile phones, electronic devices, and other restricted items.
• Personal details: Make sure your name, photograph, and other details are correct on the admit card.

Do not rely only on the exam start time. Entry may close before the test begins, so plan your journey accordingly.

What Happens After the RRB Technician Exam Ends?

Once the examination is over, the next updates may include the question paper and response sheet, answer key, objection window, and result. However, their release dates should be confirmed through an official RRB notice.

You should keep checking your regional RRB website for these updates:

The board may announce these updates separately. Do not treat an expected date shared by an unofficial website as a confirmed deadline.

Where Can You Check Official RRB Technician Updates?

You can visit the official website of the RRB you selected during the application process. The board publishes recruitment notices, exam updates, and result information through its official regional websites.

Before relying on a notice, check the recruitment number and post name. The current recruitment is listed under CEN 02/2026, so avoid confusing it with older Technician recruitment notices.

You should also keep your registration details safe. They may be needed to access the response sheet, answer key or scorecard when the relevant links become available.
