Railway Recruitment Boards have released the list of candidates shortlisted for Document Verification and Medical Examination under CEN 03/2025 for various paramedical posts. The shortlist has been prepared based on candidates’ performance in the CBT conducted from March 11 to March 13, 2026.

RRB Paramedical DV List 2026 Released for CEN 03/2025 Posts

The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have officially released the list of candidates shortlisted for Document Verification (DV) and Medical Examination for various paramedical posts notified under Centralized Employment Notification (CEN) 03/2025. The shortlist has been prepared on the basis of candidates’ performance in the Computer Based Test (CBT) conducted from March 11, 2026 to March 13, 2026.Candidates whose roll numbers appear in the provisional shortlist will now have to participate in the next stages of the recruitment process, including document verification and medical fitness examination. The Railway Recruitment Boards clarified that the shortlisted roll numbers have been arranged in ascending order and not according to merit ranking.

 

According to the notification, shortlisted candidates will receive intimation regarding their document verification schedule through official website notices, SMS, and registered email IDs. Candidates will also be able to download their e-call letters containing reporting time, venue details, and important instructions related to DV and medical examination. The recruitment drive aims to fill multiple paramedical vacancies across various Railway zones under the Indian Railways recruitment process.

 

RRB Paramedical Recruitment 2026 CBT Conducted in March

The Computer Based Test for RRB Paramedical recruitment under CEN 03/2025 was conducted over multiple days in March 2026.The examination took place on:

  • March 11, 2026
  • March 12, 2026
  • March 13, 2026

Candidates who qualified in the CBT stage based on cut-off marks and merit criteria have now been provisionally shortlisted for the next phase of recruitment.RRB stated that the candidature of all shortlisted candidates remains provisional until successful completion of all recruitment stages.

 

RRB Paramedical DV 2026 Important Instructions

The Railway Recruitment Boards have issued detailed instructions for candidates appearing in the document verification process.Candidates shortlisted for DV must report at the venue mentioned in their e-call letter along with all required original documents and photocopies.The board has instructed candidates to carefully follow the schedule and reporting time mentioned in the DV call letter to avoid disqualification.The major instructions are provided below.

 

Candidates Must Carry Original Documents

Shortlisted candidates must bring:

  • Original certificates
  • Two sets of self-attested photocopies
  • Valid identity proof
  • Educational qualification certificates
  • Category certificates, if applicable
  • Passport-size photographs

All photocopies must be submitted in A4 size format during document verification.

 

RRB DV Portal for Uploading Documents Activated

Before appearing for document verification, candidates are required to upload scanned copies of necessary documents through the official DV portal.The Railway Recruitment Boards stated that candidates must upload:

  • Educational certificates
  • Community or caste certificates
  • Photograph
  • Signature
  • Other required supporting documents

The upload link will remain active according to the separate DV schedule notification issued by respective RRBs.

 

RRB Medical Examination 2026 to Be Conducted After DV

After successful completion of document verification, candidates will be sent for medical examination at designated Railway hospitals or health units.RRB informed candidates that medical examination may take place on the next day after DV or according to instructions issued by the recruitment authorities.Candidates should therefore come prepared for a stay of approximately:

  • 3 to 4 days
  • Possible inter-city travel
  • Additional verification procedures

The medical examination will determine whether candidates satisfy the prescribed medical fitness standards for paramedical posts in Indian Railways.

 

RRB Medical Examination Fee Details

The Railway Recruitment Boards clarified that candidates are required to pay only the prescribed medical examination fee during the medical process.The official medical fee is:

  • INR 24 only

RRB also clarified that no other charges are payable to Railway hospitals or health units during the medical examination process.However, in exceptional situations where additional medical investigations are necessary, candidates may have to bear extra expenses.

 

Additional Medical Tests May Be Required

According to the official notification, some candidates may be asked to undergo additional investigations in rare situations.These may include:

  • CT Scan
  • Ultrasound examination
  • Eye-related medical tests
  • Refractive surgery verification

If such facilities are unavailable at Railway hospitals, candidates may need to visit external laboratories or hospitals and pay the required charges separately.The additional tests will only be conducted when medically necessary.

 

Certificates Must Be in Prescribed Format

RRB has instructed candidates that all certificates submitted during document verification must strictly follow the prescribed format mentioned in the recruitment notification.Additionally:

  • Certificates should be either in English or Hindi
  • Incomplete documents may lead to rejection
  • No additional time will be granted for missing certificates

Candidates failing to produce original documents during DV may lose their candidature.

 

Absence During DV or Medical Examination Will Lead to Cancellation

The Railway Recruitment Boards have warned candidates that absence during document verification or medical examination will result in forfeiture of candidature. Candidates are advised to:

  • Reach the venue on time
  • Verify travel arrangements in advance
  • Carry all required documents
  • Follow instructions mentioned in the e-call letter carefully

The board stated that no second opportunity may be provided for candidates who remain absent during scheduled verification procedures.

 

RRB Scorecard 2026 Available for a Limited Period

Candidates can also check their individual scorecards and examination results online through the official RRB websites.To access the scorecard, candidates must log in using:

  • Registration number
  • Date of birth

The result and scorecard facility will remain available only for:

  • 15 days from the notice date

Candidates are advised to download and save copies of their scorecards for future recruitment stages.

 

RRB Warns Candidates Against Fraud and Touts

The Railway Recruitment Boards have once again issued a warning regarding fraudulent recruitment practices and fake job promises. RRB clarified that:

  • Recruitment is entirely merit-based
  • Selection is fully computerised
  • No middleman or agent can influence recruitment
  • Candidates should not pay money to anyone

The board advised candidates to remain cautious of individuals falsely promising jobs in exchange for illegal payments. RRB stated that the only official payment involved at this stage is the medical examination fee of INR 24.

 

RRB Recruitment Process Completely Merit-Based

According to the notification, selection for Railway paramedical posts is based entirely on:

  • CBT performance
  • Document verification
  • Medical fitness

The board emphasised that merely being called for document verification does not guarantee appointment in Indian Railways. Final appointment will depend on:

  • Verification of eligibility
  • Document authenticity
  • Medical fitness standards
  • Vacancy availability

RRB retains the authority to cancel candidature at any stage if discrepancies or malpractice are identified.

 

RRB Reserves Right to Correct Errors

The Railway Recruitment Boards stated that every effort has been made to prepare the shortlist accurately. However, the board reserved the right to rectify:

  • Typographical errors
  • Printing mistakes
  • Technical discrepancies
  • Inadvertent omissions

RRB also clarified that it may not entertain correspondence from unsuccessful candidates regarding the recruitment outcome.
