The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released the RRB NTPC Admit Card 2026 for candidates appearing in the Graduate Level recruitment under Centralised Employment Notification (CEN) No. 06/2025. Registered candidates can now access their CBT 1 e-call letter through the official RRB websites using their login credentials. The Computer-Based Test (CBT 1) for the Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) recruitment is scheduled to be conducted from 16 March 2026 to 27 March 2026 at various exam centres across India.

 

RRB NTPC 2026 Exam Schedule and Recruitment Details

The recruitment drive aims to fill 5,810 graduate-level vacancies across Indian Railways in various NTPC posts. The first stage of the selection process is the CBT 1 examination, which is mandatory for all applicants. Before issuing the admit cards, RRB had released the exam city intimation slip on 07 March 2026 to inform candidates about their allotted exam city and date in advance. Steps to Download RRB NTPC Admit Card 2026

Candidates must download the hall ticket online from the official portal. Before downloading, applicants should keep their login credentials ready. Follow the steps below to access the admit card:

  1. Visit the official RRB regional website or application portal.
  2. Click on the “RRB NTPC Admit Card 2026 – CEN 06/2025” link.
  3. Enter the registration number and date of birth.
  4. The RRB NTPC hall ticket will appear on the screen.
  5. Download the admit card and take a printed copy for exam day.

Candidates should verify all details printed on the admit card, including their name, photograph, exam centre, and reporting time, before the exam date.

 

RRB NTPC CBT 1 Exam Pattern

The first stage CBT evaluates candidates’ aptitude through multiple-choice questions. Candidates should understand the exam structure before appearing for the test. Important exam pattern details include:

  • Total questions: 100
  • Total marks: 100
  • Duration: 90 minutes (120 minutes for PwBD candidates)
  • Sections:
    • General Awareness – 40 questions
    • Mathematics – 30 questions
    • General Intelligence and Reasoning – 30 questions
  • Negative marking: 1/3 mark deducted for each incorrect answer

 

Documents Required at the Exam Centre

Candidates must carry essential documents to the examination centre. Without these documents, entry to the exam hall will not be allowed. Required documents include:

  • Printed copy of the RRB NTPC admit card 2026
  • Valid photo identity proof (Aadhaar card, passport, voter ID, etc.)
  • Passport-size photograph as specified in the application

Electronic devices such as mobile phones, calculators, and smart watches are not permitted inside the examination hall.

 

Selection Process for RRB NTPC Recruitment

The NTPC recruitment process consists of multiple stages designed to evaluate candidates’ aptitude and job-specific skills. The selection stages include:

  • CBT 1 (First Stage Computer-Based Test)
  • CBT 2 (Second Stage Computer-Based Test)
