The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) is expected to release the NTPC 2026 city slip (exam city intimation) soon for candidates who applied under the Graduate category (09/2025 notification). Aspirants will be able to download it from the respective regional RRB portals before the examination. (
The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) is anticipated to release the City Slip (Exam City Intimation) for the Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) 2026 exam — specifically for candidates under the Graduate category (Notification 09/2025) — on its regional portals. This document informs candidates of the exam city and is typically available shortly before the release of the RRB NTPC admit card/hall ticket.
What is the RRB NTPC 2026 City Slip?
The City Slip is an exam city intimation letter that specifies the city, reporting time and centre details for candidates appearing in the RRB NTPC 2026 examination. This document helps aspirants plan travel and logistics ahead of the exam day. It is not the final hall ticket; the RRB NTPC admit card will be released later once the city slip is issued.
Who Will Get the RRB NTPC City Slip?
The city slip will be made available for aspirants who have successfully submitted their applications under the Graduate category (Notification 09/2025) of the RRB NTPC 2026 recruitment. This typically includes candidates applying for clerical, commercial, traffic assistant and other graduate-level posts within the Railways.
Steps to Download RRB NTPC City Slip
Once released, candidates can download their city slip by following these general steps:
- Visit the official website of the respective Regional Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) responsible for your jurisdiction.
- Look for the link named “RRB NTPC 2026 City Slip / Exam City Intimation”.
- Click on the link to open the login page.
- Enter your registration number and date of birth (or password).
- Once submitted, your city slip will be displayed on the screen.
- Download and print the document for future reference.
What to Do After Downloading?
After downloading the city slip, candidates should:
- Verify the exam city and reporting time carefully.
- Plan their travel and accommodation accordingly.
- Keep both soft and printed copies of the slip handy.
- Monitor official notifications for the release of the NTPC admit card and exam schedule.
The city slip serves as an important preparatory document and is generally followed by the issuance of RRB NTPC admit cards, which candidates must carry to the examination centre along with valid ID proof on the exam day.
