RRB NTPC 2025 CBTST Rescheduled; Option Link Extended till 15 Jan

The Railway Recruitment Board has extended the option link for the rescheduled RRB NTPC 2025 CBTST till 15 January 2026. The recruitment drive aims to fill 11,558 vacancies across undergraduate and graduate-level NTPC posts.

RRB NTPC 2025 CBTST Rescheduled; Option Link Extended till 15 Jan

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has once again extended the option window for candidates to opt for the rescheduled CBTST under RRB NTPC 2025. As per the latest notice, candidates can now submit their preference for the rescheduled test till 15 January 2026. This extension has been provided to ensure that all eligible candidates get sufficient time to confirm their availability for the rescheduled stage of the selection process.

 

RRB NTPC 2025 CBTST Option Link Extension Details

The option link for appearing in the rescheduled CBTST was initially activated on 8 January 2026 and was scheduled to close on 13 January 2026. The Railway Recruitment Board has now extended this deadline by two days, allowing candidates to submit their choice until 15 January 2026. Candidates who fail to exercise this option within the revised timeline may not be considered for the rescheduled CBTST.

 

RRB NTPC 2025 Vacancy Details

The RRB NTPC 2025 recruitment drive is being conducted to fill a total of 11,558 vacancies across undergraduate and graduate-level posts. Out of the total vacancies, 3,058 posts are notified for undergraduate-level positions, while 8,875 posts are reserved for graduate-level positions. These vacancies include various Non-Technical Popular Categories posts across different railway zones.

 

Status of RRB NTPC CBTST and CBAT Exams

The RRB NTPC Graduate Level CBAT was conducted on 28 December 2025. However, the Typing Skill Test (TST) was cancelled earlier, prompting the decision to reschedule the CBTST. Fresh exam dates for the rescheduled CBTST are expected to be announced soon by the Railway Recruitment Board. Candidates are advised to regularly check official RRB notifications for updates regarding the revised examination schedule.

 

How to Download RRB NTPC Admit Card?

The admit card for the RRB NTPC CBTST is expected to be released four days before the examination date. Candidates will be required to download the hall ticket online, as no physical copy will be issued. The steps to download the admit card are outlined below:

  • Visit the official RRB regional website
  • Click on the RRB NTPC admit card download link on the homepage
  • Enter the registration number or roll number and date of birth or password
  • View and download the admit card displayed on the screen
  • Take a printout for use on the exam day

Candidates must carry a printed copy of the admit card along with a valid photo identity proof to the examination centre.
