The Railway Recruitment Board (RRBs) has released the application form for Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) posts for 2025.Today's date is 28 October 2025. The recruitment is aimed at filling around 8,800 vacanciesacross various Zonal Railways Boards in India.

 

RRB NTPC 2025 Vacancy Details

The RRB NTPC 2025 recruitment includes both undergraduate-level and graduate-level posts. The notification for NTPC 2025 was issued last week, and registration began on 21 October 2025.

Eligibility Criteria for RRB NTPC UG 2025

Candidates applying for NTPC UG posts must meet the following criteria:

  • Nationality: Indian citizen
  • Educational Qualification: Class 12th or equivalent from a recognized central or state board
  • Age Limit: 18–30 years (age relaxation of 5–10 years for SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates)
  • Other Requirements: Proficiency in English/Hindi typing is required for some posts. No prior work experienceis necessary.

 

Selection Process and Exam Pattern

The selection process for RRB NTPC UG 2025 involves multiple stages:

  1. Computer-Based Test (CBT1 & CBT2):
    • Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
    • Duration: 90 minutes
    • Negative marking: 1/3 mark deducted for wrong answers
  2. Typing Skill Test: Applicable for clerical posts
  3. Document Verification: Candidates must submit original certificates and documents for verification
  4. Medical Examination: Final stage of the selection process
