RRB ALP Exam City Slip 2026 Released for CBT 1 at Regional RRBs

Railway Recruitment Boards have released the RRB ALP Exam City Slip 2026 for CBT 1 on 5 February. The Assistant Loco Pilot CBT 1 exam will be conducted between 13 February and 18 February 2026 for 9,970 vacancies.

RRB ALP Exam City Slip 2026 has been released by the Railway Recruitment Boards for candidates appearing in the Assistant Loco Pilot examination. The city intimation slip allows candidates to check their allotted exam city ahead of the CBT 1 examination.

Candidates can access the RRB ALP Exam City Slip 2026 through the official websites of their respective regional RRBs. To download the slip, candidates are required to use their registration number and date of birth. The city slip provides advance information about the examination city to help candidates plan travel and accommodation. It is important to note that this document is not the final admit card, which will be issued separately before the examination.

 

How to Download RRB ALP Exam City Slip 2026?

Candidates should follow the official procedure to download the city intimation slip. The online facility has been activated on all regional RRB portals. First, candidates must visit the official website of the concerned regional RRB. On the homepage, they need to click on the RRB ALP Exam City 2026 link. After entering the login credentials, the exam city details will be displayed on the screen. Candidates are advised to download and keep a printed copy for reference.

 

RRB ALP CBT 1 Exam Dates and Pattern

The Assistant Loco Pilot CBT 1 examination will be conducted on 13 February 2026, 16 February 2026, 17 February 2026, and 18 February 2026. The examination duration is 60 minutes. CBT 1 will consist of 75 multiple-choice questions carrying a total of 75 marks. There will be negative marking of one-third mark for each incorrect answer. CBT 1 is a qualifying and screening test used to shortlist candidates for CBT 2 based on normalised scores and merit within the same RRB zone.

 

Minimum Qualifying Marks and Vacancy Details

The minimum qualifying percentage for CBT 1 is 40% for UR and EWS, 30% for OBC (NCL) and SC, and 25% for ST candidates. These criteria are also applicable to Ex-Servicemen as per their respective categories. This recruitment drive aims to fill 9,970 Assistant Loco Pilot posts across Indian Railways. The application process for the recruitment was conducted from 12 April 2025 to 11 May 2025.
