According to official reports, a total of 507 seats are expected to be filled this year — including 358 for Class 6 and 149 for Class 9 through the combination of CET performance and subsequent rounds of interviews and medical tests.

What Happens Next After the Result Declaration?

Shortlisted students will be called for the interview stage, which serves as an important part of the military school admission process. During interviews, candidates’ personality traits, communication skills, and general awareness will be assessed to determine suitability for RMS education and discipline. Candidates must prepare for the interview as per instructions mentioned on the e-call letter. After interviews and any subsequent assessments such as medical examinations, the final merit list and admission offer letters will be published on the official RMS admission portal. Those not meeting the cut-off marks or who do not attend the interview will not progress further in this year’s selection process.
