RML Nursing Officer Educational Qualification 2025
Candidates must meet one of the two qualification options listed below to apply for the RML Nursing Officer post.
Option 1 – Degree Qualification
- B.Sc (Hons.) Nursing / B.Sc Nursing from an INC-recognised institute or university, or
- B.Sc (Post-Certificate) / Post-Basic B.Sc Nursing from an INC-recognised institute or university.
- Must be registered as a Nurse and Midwife with the State Nursing Council / Indian Nursing Council.
Option 2 – Diploma Qualification
- Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) from an INC-recognised institute or board.
- Must be registered as a Nurse and Midwife with the State / Indian Nursing Council.
- Must have two years of work experience in a hospital with a minimum of 50 beds after qualification.
Note:Experience should be post-qualification and certified on official letterhead, clearly mentioning the hospital bed strength.
RML Nursing Officer Age Limit 2025
Candidates must meet the age criteria as of the last date of the online application.

RML Nursing Officer Reservation and Domicile Rules
Candidates applying under reserved categories must follow the Uttar Pradesh state reservation norms.
- Reservation benefits apply only to Uttar Pradesh domicile candidates.
- SC/ST/OBC/EWS certificates must be issued by a competent UP authority within six months before the CBT.
- Candidates from other states will be considered under the Unreserved (UR) category.
- Horizontal reservation will apply for categories such as PwBD, Dependents of Freedom Fighters, and Ex-servicemen as per state rules.
