REET Mains Exam Timings 2026 Released; Check Shift-Wise Schedule

RSMSSB has released the REET Mains 2026 exam schedule and shift timings for exams to be held from 17 to 21 January. Candidates must follow the prescribed dress code and exam day instructions to avoid entry-related issues.

REET Mains Exam Timings 2026 Released; Check Shift-Wise Schedule

The Rajasthan Subordinate and Ministerial Services Selection Board has released the REET Mains Exam Timings 2026 along with important exam day instructions. The REET Mains examination will be conducted from 17 January 2026 to 21 January 2026 across multiple centres in Rajasthan. Candidates who have registered for the examination can download their admit cards from rssb.rajasthan.gov.in using their registration credentials. The exam is being held to fill 5,636 vacancies for Primary Teacher (Level I) and Upper Primary Teacher (Level II) posts in government schools of Rajasthan.

 

REET Mains Exam Timings 2026 and Shift Details

The REET Mains examination will be conducted in pen-and-paper mode in two shifts each day. The examination will take place in 33 cities across Rajasthan.

  • Morning Shift: 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM
  • Evening Shift: 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM

Candidates must report to the exam centre well before the scheduled time, as entry gates will close 30 minutes before the commencement of the examination.

 

REET Mains 2026 Paper-Wise Exam Schedule

The board has released a detailed subject-wise exam schedule to help candidates plan accordingly. The examinations will be conducted on different dates for Level I and Level II posts.

  • 17 January 2026: Primary School Teacher (Level I) – General (Morning Shift)
  • 18 January 2026: Upper Primary Teacher (Level II) – Science and Mathematics (Morning Shift)
  • 18 January 2026: Upper Primary Teacher (Level II) – Social Studies (Evening Shift)
  • 19 January 2026: Upper Primary Teacher (Level II) – English (Morning Shift)
  • 19 January 2026: Upper Primary Teacher (Level II) – Hindi (Evening Shift)
  • 20 January 2026: Primary School Teacher (Level I) – Sanskrit (Morning Shift)
  • 20 January 2026: Upper Primary Teacher (Level II) – Sanskrit (Evening Shift)

 

REET Mains Dress Code Guidelines 2026

Candidates must strictly follow the prescribed dress code to ensure smooth entry at the exam centre. Only simple clothing without metal accessories is allowed. Jewellery, watches, belts, sunglasses, scarves, hats, and electronic devices are strictly prohibited. Candidates are advised to avoid jeans, cargos, or outfits with multiple pockets. Simple attire such as salwar kameez, saree, or a t-shirt with trousers is recommended.

 

REET Exam Day Guidelines 2026

Candidates must carry a printed admit card, a valid photo identity proof, and a recent passport-size photograph for verification. No candidate will be allowed to leave the examination hall before the exam concludes. Electronic gadgets, stationery items, and personal belongings are not permitted inside the examination hall. Any violation of exam instructions may lead to disqualification. Candidates are advised to carefully read all instructions mentioned on the admit card and report to the exam centre on time to avoid last-minute inconvenience.
