RBSE Class 9 & 11 Exam Dates Revised 2026; Results on 25 March

The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) has revised the annual examination dates for Class 9 and Class 11 students for the academic year 2025-26. According to the updated timetable, the board exams for both classes will be conducted from 7 March to 19 March 2026, replacing earlier planned schedules. This change ensures that evaluation processes and result publication occur well before the start of the new academic session.

Updated Exam Schedule for RBSE 9th & 11th Classes

The board’s decision to revise the timetable aims to give adequate time for answer sheet evaluation and administrative processes so that the 2026-27 session can begin promptly on 1 April 2026. Under the new schedule:

  • RBSE Class 9 annual exams will commence on 7 March 2026 and conclude on 19 March 2026.
  • RBSE Class 11 annual exams will be held during the same period from 7 March to 19 March 2026.

Students and parents should note that the revised timetable replaces the previously planned later dates and that exam preparations should follow the updated schedule.

Result Date Announced for Class 9 & 11 Board Exams

RBSE has confirmed that the results for both Class 9 and Class 11 annual exams will be declared on 25 March 2026. This result date gives schools, students and parents sufficient time to complete assessment processes and facilitate the transition to the next academic year without delays. The announcement of result dates well ahead of the academic year change is expected to streamline the admissions and promotion process across schools in Rajasthan.

RBSE 9th & 11th Board Exams: Other Key Academic Changes

Alongside the revised dates for Class 9 and Class 11 board exams, the board and the education department have also ended the automatic promotion policy for lower standards such as Class 5 and Class 8. Under the new policy, students of these classes must now achieve minimum passing marks to be promoted to the next standard. Students and parents are advised to regularly check the official RBSE website for detailed subject-wise timetables, admit card releases and any updates to exam guidelines as the new schedule progresses.
