The Rajasthan Education Department has issued new instructions to enhance question paper security for Class 9 and Class 11 examinations. The board has directed continuous monitoring to prevent any breach of confidentiality and ensure a transparent examination process. According to the updated guidelines, if question papers are stored at PEEO or UCEO offices under emergency situations, 24-hour security must be maintained. The board has also instructed round-the-clock duty of staff at these offices to keep the papers secure at all times.
Guidelines for Storing and Handling Question Papers
The District Education Officer (Headquarters), Secondary Education, has been authorised to decide whether question papers should be stored at a police station or PEEO/UCEO offices, based on the situation. Officials involved in question paper handling will receive special training to ensure proper management. During the examination period, trained officials will be appointed as in-charges and centre superintendents to oversee the functioning of respective exam centres. The instructions aim to prevent leaks and maintain integrity throughout the examination process.

- 24-hour security for question papers at all sensitive locations.
- Continuous monitoring to avoid breaches of confidentiality.
- Round-the-clock duty of staff at the concerned offices.
- Special training for officials handling papers, including PEEOs and UCEOs.
