According to the Rajasthan Education Department, a total of 19,92,357 applications were received this year for free admission in private schools. Out of these applications, 6,25,146 students were included in the lottery draw, including:

• 3,29,165 boys
• 2,95,970 girls
• 11 third-gender students

Admissions are allotted based on the school preferences submitted by parents during the application process.

The RTE lottery system is conducted annually to ensure access to free education in private schools for eligible children. This year, the admission process covers 33,137 private schools across Rajasthan, offering reserved seats for students from economically weaker backgrounds. The state Education Minister, Madan Dilawar, launched the lottery process from Pali, finalising seat allotment for thousands of students across the state.

Parents whose children have been allotted seats must complete the reporting and document verification process between March 17 and March 25, 2026 at the allotted schools. The verification process ensures that eligible students secure admission smoothly before the start of the academic session.

1. Visit the official portal at rajpsp.nic.in.
2. Click on “School Admission Status” or “Lottery Result – School-Wise.”
3. Select “By School Location.”
4. Enter details such as District, Block, Gram Panchayat/ULB, Village/Ward, and School.
5. Enter the captcha code displayed on the screen.
6. Click Search/View to check the allotment result.

Parents can also search using application details or school login credentials to view the admission status.
