IIM Bangalore EMBA Ranking 2026 and Global Performance
The latest rankings show a slight decline in IIM Bangalore’s global position, reflecting increased competition among top executive MBA programmes worldwide. Despite this drop, the institute continues to maintain a strong global presence. It remains the only Indian institution in the global top 100, underlining its consistent performance in executive education. No other Indian business school has secured a place in this segment in 2026.

The rankings are based on several performance indicators, including employer reputation and career outcomes. IIM Bangalore has demonstrated strength in these areas. The key performance indicators are outlined below:

These rankings indicate strong industry recognition and positive career progression for graduates of the programme.
Indian Business Schools in QS EMBA Rankings 2026
This year, seven Indian business schools have been included in the QS EMBA Rankings. This marks a significant presence for India in the Asia-Pacific region. India has emerged as the second-most represented country in Asia-Pacific, following China. However, the rankings also highlight that global competitiveness remains concentrated in a limited number of institutions. While multiple Indian institutes are featured, only IIM Bangalore has secured a position within the top 100 globally, reflecting a gap between top-tier and emerging business schools in the country.
