The University of the Punjab, Lahore has announced the admission notice for Undergraduate Programs 2025-26 Phase II. Candidates seeking admission to open merit seats must appear in the PU Admission Test, with the third test tentatively scheduled for October 1, 2025. Admissions in this phase will be available only for open merit seats, and no hostel facility will be provided.
PU UG Admission Test Details
- Exam Date: October 1, 2025 (tentative)
- Weightage in Merit: 25%
- Test Fee: PKR 2500 (non-refundable, non-transferable)
- Payment Modes: HBL, UBL branches or mobile banking (1Bill)
- Test Centres: Lahore (Quaid-e-Azam Campus), Gujranwala, Jhelum, and Pothohar campuses
Test Categories
The PU Admission Test will be held in seven categories, based on academic streams:
Candidates who already appeared in any of the previous two entry tests are not required to retake it.
PU UG Eligibility
- Applicants must have passed HSSC or equivalent (Grade 12).
- Test is optional for those who attempted earlier PU admission tests.
- Both LAT and PU Admission Test are mandatory for admission into LLB programs.

- Register for the admission test
- Download challan and pay the fee (PKR 2500) through HBL, UBL, or mobile banking
- Upload proof of payment on the portal
- Submit the online admission form separately at admissions.pu.edu.pk
