Pondicherry University 2025 Conduct Admissions for B.Tech., Integrated PG Courses for the academic session 2025–26 will be held today, 25 August 2025. The admission process will be carried out strictly on the basis of CUET (UG) 2025 scores and merit ranking at the Puducherry and Karaikal campuses.
Pondicherry University Admission Based on CUET (UG) 2025 Scores
According to the university’s official press note, candidates will be admitted only if they have appeared for CUET (UG) 2025 and secured the required Test Paper Code (QP Code) mentioned in the UG admission information brochure. Those who did not take CUET (UG) 2025 will not be eligible for admission.
The university also clarified that admissions will not be conducted online. All interested candidates must report physically to their respective departments or centres on August 25 between 10 a.m. and 12 noon, after which registration will close.
Pondicherry University 2025 Category-Wise Vacancies Announced
The university has uploaded the category-wise vacancy details on its official website. Admissions will be carried out against these vacancies in order of merit and ranking.
The procedure will follow a two-stage preference system:
- Preference 1: Candidates who had applied to Pondicherry University during CUET registration and possess the required QP Code.
- Preference 2: If vacancies remain, candidates with the required QP Code who had not applied to Pondicherry University will be considered.
Reporting Guidelines for Pondicherry University 2025 Candidates
The admission process requires compulsory physical presence on campus, and reporting online will not be permitted. Students must bring their original certificates for verification, including:
- CUET (UG) 2025 scorecard
- Mark sheets of the qualifying examination
- Category certificate (if applicable)
- Transfer and conduct a certificate
- Any other required academic or identification documents
Upon selection, candidates will need to pay the applicable fees immediately through online payment at the admission venue.
