PNB LBO 2025 Notification Released for 750 Posts, Exam in Dec/Jan

Punjab National Bank has announced the Local Bank Officer (LBO) recruitment for the first time. The officials have released 750 vacancies across states. The bank will conduct the online written exam in December 2025/January 2026.

The recruitment notification was issued on 3 November 2025. The online registration process ran from 3 November to 23 November 2025. Candidates who applied must now prepare for the written exam.

Eligibility for PNB LBO Recruitment 2025

Candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Citizenship: Indian or eligible categories with a valid certificate.
• Education: Graduation from a recognised university with a valid degree by 23 November 2025.
• Work Experience: Minimum 1-year post-qualification experience in clerical/officer roles in Scheduled Commercial Banks or Regional Rural Banks.
• Age Limit (as on 1 July 2025):20–30 years with relaxations:
  • OBC (NCL): 3 years
  • SC/ST: 5 years
  • PwBD: 10 years
  • ECOs/SSCOs: 5 years

Application Fees

• SC/ST/PwBD: INR 59 (INR 50 + GST)
• Others: INR 1180 (INR 1000 + GST)

The fee is non-refundable.

Selection Process

The selection will take place in 4 stages:

1. Online Written Test (Reasoning, Data Analysis, English, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness)
2. Document Verification
3. Local Language Proficiency Test
4. Personal Interview with minimum qualifying marks

Selected candidates will serve a 2-year probation.

Salary Structure for PNB LBO 2025

The pay scale for JMGS-I is:INR 48, 480–2, 000/7–62, 480–2, 340/2–67,160–2, 680/7–85, 920

Employees will also receive DA, CCA, HRA, medical cover, leave benefits, and other allowances as per bank rules.
