Pariksha Pe Charcha 2026 on Feb 6 with New Nationwide Format

Pariksha Pe Charcha (PPC) 2026, the annual government programme that connects students directly with the Prime Minister of India, will be held on 6 February 2026 in an expanded new format, Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has confirmed. The initiative allows Prime Minister Narendra Modi to interact with students, parents, and teachers across the country, offering guidance on exam preparation, handling stress, and maintaining a positive mindset during the crucial academic period.

New Format and Expanded Participation

This year’s edition is expected to include a broader set of engagement points across multiple locations, enabling students from varied regions to participate simultaneously. Participants have already registered in significant numbers, with over 4.2 crore registrations, making it one of the most widely attended editions of PPC since its inception. Traditionally, Pariksha Pe Charcha is conducted ahead of the annual board and competitive exam season, providing students and families with a platform to discuss challenges related to exam stress and performance.

What Students and Families Can Expect?

In the live interaction session:

  • PM Modi will address common exam concerns, including preparation strategies and stress management.
  • Parents and teachers are also invited to participate, making the discussion holistic and supportive.
  • This year’s extended format aims to connect students from different states and locations concurrently.

The session will be broadcast across various television, radio, and digital platforms, ensuring that students nationwide can watch and benefit from the discussion even if they are not physically present at any particular location.
