The Higher Education Department, Government of Odisha, has announced an extension for the Mukhyamantri Medhabi Chhatra Protsahan Yojana (MMCPY) 2025-26. According to the latest notification, students can now apply online for the scholarship from October 26 to November 4, 2025. The extension applies to both fresh and renewal applications across all eligible schemes.

- Gopabandhu Sikhya Sahayata Yojana
Mandatory DigiLocker Document Upload
From this academic year, the Odisha Higher Education Department has made it mandatory for all students to upload documents via DigiLocker during the scholarship application process. Students unable to upload documents through DigiLocker can temporarily use the ‘Skip DigiLocker Option’ available on the OSSP portal until November 1, 2025.
