Odisha Board Exams 2026: BSE, CHSE Dates to Be Announced Soon

The School and Mass Education Department of Odisha has clarified that there are no new orders for school closures or mergers in the state. Officials dismissed recent media reports suggesting new rounds of school rationalization as baseless, reaffirming that previous mergers in 2020–21 involved 5,632 schools and no further actions have been initiated. This clarification comes ahead of the Odisha Board Exams 2026, which are expected to be conducted in the usual February–March timeframe for both Class 10 and 12 students.

Background on Previous School Mergers
