Merit List and Admission Basis

Admission to Odisha Adarsha Vidyalayas will be based on the OAVET merit list and seat availability in the selected class and category. Qualifying the OAV Entrance Test means the student is eligible to be considered for admission, but seating depends on rank and availability within each category.

Qualifying Criteria and Cut‑Off Marks

While official cut‑off marks for OAVET 2026 have not yet been published, previous trends show that students typically needed to score a minimum of 5 marks each in English and Odia, and at least 13 marks in aggregate in the language proficiency section of the test to qualify. Category‑wise cut‑off trends may also influence admission ranks once the result is declared. Students should keep their roll number and date of birth ready for logging in to access the OAV Result 2026 scorecard, and they are advised to monitor the official result portals frequently for the latest updates.
