About SWAYAM Examination

The SWAYAM (Study Webs of Active Learning for Young Aspiring Minds) initiative was launched by the Ministry of Education to promote free digital learning across India. It hosts thousands of courses offered by top national institutions such as IITs, IIMs, and Central Universities. The platform ensures universal access to quality education and enables learners to earn academic credits transferable to their university degrees. The examinations are conducted by NTA twice a year — in January and July sessions — through computer-based tests across multiple centres in India.

Important Guidelines for Candidates

  • Applicants must carry their admit card and a valid photo ID to the exam centre.
  • Entry to the examination hall will not be permitted after the reporting time.
  • Candidates must verify their exam shift, centre, and subject code carefully once the admit card is released.
  • In case of any discrepancies, communication with NTA must be made before the correction window closes.

What’s Next After Registration?

After the registration concludes today, the NTA will issue the SWAYAM July 2025 admit cards in the last week of November. The exam results are expected to be declared by the first week of January 2026 on the official website.
