SWAYAM January 2026 Exam Schedule and Pattern
The National Testing Agency has scheduled the SWAYAM January 2026 semester examinations on 17 June 2026, 18 June 2026, 19 June 2026, 20 June 2026, and 21 June 2026. In addition, 22 June 2026 and 23 June 2026 have been kept as buffer dates to manage contingencies. The examinations will be conducted in two shifts each day. The morning shift will be held from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM, while the afternoon shift will take place from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The SWAYAM January 2026 exams will be conducted for 648 courses in hybrid mode, comprising Computer-Based Tests (CBT) and Pen-and-Paper Tests (PBT). The medium of the question paper will be English, except for language subjects, which will be conducted in their respective languages. As per the official clarification, no negative marking will be applied for incorrect answers in multiple-choice questions.

The registration process for the SWAYAM January 2026 semester examinations was conducted earlier, with applications accepted from 08 October 2025 to 30 October 2025. Candidates appearing for the examinations are advised to download and retain a copy of the SWAYAM January 2026 exam date sheet for reference.
