JEE Main 2026: NTA Drops 9 Questions, +4 Bonus Marks Announced after releasing the final answer key on the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in. The decision applies to Session 1 examinations conducted in January 2026.
Candidates will receive +4 marks for each dropped question, regardless of whether they attempted it. The bonus will be granted only for questions dropped in the candidate’s respective shift.

The National Testing Agency has released subject-wise and shift-wise details of the dropped questions. Candidates who appeared in these specific shifts will be awarded bonus marks accordingly.

JEE Main 2026 Session 1 Result to Be Released Soon
Following the release of the final answer key, the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 result is expected shortly. The result will be available in the form of a scorecard under candidate login at jeemain.nta.nic.in.
Candidates must keep their application number and password ready to access the result. The scorecard will display percentile score, All India Rank, and qualification status for further admission processes, including eligibility for JEE Advanced 2026.
