NPCIL GATE 2026 Recruitment Notification OUT: Apply via GATE Scores

The Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) has released its official recruitment notification for engineering graduates through GATE 2026 scores. Aspirants can apply for Executive Trainee posts in multiple engineering disciplines, including Mechanical (ME), Chemical (CH), Electrical (EE), Electronics (EE), Instrumentation (IN), and Civil Engineering (CE).

 

Eligibility Criteria for NPCIL GATE 2026

  • Educational Qualification: BTech/BE/BSc in engineering or a five-year integrated MTech programme
  • Minimum Marks: 60% from a recognised university
  • GATE Scores: Valid GATE 2026/2025/2024 score
  • Age Limit: As per official notification

Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria can apply online once the detailed advertisement is released on NPCIL official websites: npcil.nic.in ornpcil.careers.com. The notification is expected within 10 days of GATE 2026 result announcement on March 19, 2026.

 

Selection Process

  • Shortlisting for Executive Trainee posts will be based primarily on GATE scores.
  • Shortlisted candidates may have to undergo further rounds as mentioned in the official notification.

 

GATE 2026 Exam Overview

  • Conducting Body: IIT Guwahati
  • Exam Dates: February 7, 8, 14, and 15, 2026 (two shifts per day)
  • Admit Card: Available from January 2, 2026
  • Registration Last Date: October 6, 2025 (without late fee), October 9, 2025 (with late fee)

 

How to Apply for GATE 2026?

  1. Visit the official GATE 2026 portal: gate2026.iitg.ac.in
  2. Register to receive an enrollment ID and create a password (8–15 characters)
  3. Fill in the application form with accurate personal and academic details
  4. Upload required documents as per specifications
  5. Pay the application fee and submit the form
  6. Take a printout of the submitted form for records
