Uttarakhand High Court has made its decision regarding the qualification required for the Pharmacist Job. The High Court has stated that only D.Pharm candidates registered with the State Pharmacy Council will be considered eligible for the Pharmacist recruitment, and the B.Pharm candidates cannot apply for the post.
The case was filed by Om Prakash, Vinod Kumar, and Pankaj Mohan Dhyani. The petitioners filed the case based on the statement made by the State Government that B.Pharm Candidates will also hold their identities and would be considered for jobs. But till now, no amendments and laws have been passed to ensure job security for the B.Pharm Candidates.
The decision was made by Justice Ravindra Maithani, and he also stated that B.Pharm Candidates might benefit in the future.
Pharmacist Job: Eligibility Criteria
The candidates need to meet the required criteria to be eligible for the Pharmacist Job:
- The candidate must have passed their 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognised institution.
The candidate must hold a degree a D.Pharm degree from a recognised university.
