The NMMSS Exam 2025 was conducted smoothly across Haryana on November 30, the Haryana Board of School Education (HBSE) confirmed in its latest update. The board said the exam was held in a peaceful and copy-free environment across 192 centres in the state.
NMMSS 2025 exam held for 57,268 candidates
HBSE reported that 57,268 candidates had been issued admit cards for this year’s scholarship exam. This included 23,031 boys, 34,233 girls, and 4 transgender candidates.The exam took place from 11 am to 2 pm without any interruption.
Flying squads monitored the NMMSS exam
To ensure fairness, the board deployed district-level flying squads at several centres. These teams carried out surprise visits and confirmed that the exam was being conducted smoothly and without malpractice. District Education Officers also inspected centres in their areas and found the arrangements satisfactory.
About the NMMSS scholarship scheme
The NMMSS exam is part of the National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme run by the Ministry of Education. The scheme supports meritorious students from economically weaker families studying in government and aided schools.Students selected through the exam receive a monthly scholarship from Class 9 to Class 12 to help them continue their education without financial challenges.
HBSE stated that the exam was conducted in a transparent manner and all necessary arrangements were in place to support candidates across the state.
