As per the previous year's criteria, candidates need to secure at least 45% marks in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/Vocational Subject. Candidates who have completed a Diploma in Engineering can also be considered, subject to the prescribed minimum marks.

The latest official NMIMS handout for BTech/MBA Tech admissions also specifies a minimum 45% in PCM for the relevant admissions route. Candidates should remember that the final NMIMS CET 2027 eligibility criteria will be determined by the official admission handout released by NMIMS.

NMIMS CET 2027 Eligibility: Marks Calculation

Candidates should be careful while entering their Class 12 marks in the NMIMS CET application form 2027. For boards such as CBSE and ICSE, the aggregate percentage may be calculated using all subjects taken and appeared for, rather than selecting only the best four, five or six subjects.

The latest NMIMS admission handout states that the aggregate scores of all subjects taken and appeared for are considered for confirming eligibility. Candidates should therefore enter their marks exactly as mentioned on their official marksheet.

NMIMS CET 2027 Courses

The NMIMS CET is used for admission to various undergraduate programmes. These include BTech and BTech + MBA Tech programmes in different engineering and technology specialisations.

According to the official NMIMS CET portal, BTech specialisations include Artificial Intelligence, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Mechatronics, Mechanical, Computer Science and Engineering (Cybersecurity) and Computer Science and Business Systems, among others.

The BTech + MBA Tech programme includes engineering streams such as Artificial Intelligence, Information Technology, Computer Engineering and Data Science, along with management specialisations.
