The National Law University (NLU), Delhi has opened the admission withdrawal process for candidates provisionally admitted to the BA LLB (Hons.) and LLM programmes for the academic year 2025β26. The withdrawal process, which began on 29th May, 2025, allows eligible candidates to log in to the official website - nationallawuniversitydelhi.in, and proceed with their admission withdrawal.
The AILET 2025 exam was conducted offline on 8th December, 2024, and results were declared on 12 December, 2025.
According to the official announcement, candidates who have secured provisional admission to the BA LLB (Hons.), LLM, or Joint Masters in IP LL.M./M.A. programmes and wish to opt out must log in to their AILET 2025 portal and complete the withdrawal process by marking their exit.
As per the official announcement, the admission fee will be refunded to the original mode of payment. NLU Delhi stated that the refund process will follow the norms set by the University Grants Commission (UGC).
Additionally, candidates who choose to withdraw from a provisionally allotted seat will be disqualified from being reconsidered for admission to the same programme in subsequent rounds. The vacated seat will then be offered to the next eligible candidate, according to the AILET 2025 merit ranking.
