The Moot Court Society (MCS) of National Law School of India University (NLSIU), in collaboration with Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co (SAM), has announced the 2nd NLS–SAM FinTech Moot Court Competition, 2025, scheduled for November 2025. This national-level competition aims to provide law students a platform to explore emerging issues in financial technology (fintech) law, combining academic rigor with practical advocacy experience.
About the Competition
The inaugural edition of the NLS–SAM FinTech Moot Court introduced participants to innovative legal problems such as blockchain-enabled fractional real estate ownership. The 2025 edition promises similarly complex issues in fintech law, covering topics like digital public infrastructure, virtual reality in finance, and regulatory compliance challenges. Participants will be evaluated on their research, analytical thinking, and written and oral advocacy skills. The competition promotes collaborative learning and helps students gain exposure to real-world legal and financial challenges, preparing them for careers in corporate, regulatory, and fintech sectors.
