NIT Warangal has announced a free GATE coaching programme for third- and fourth-year BTech students, aimed at preparing candidates for the upcoming GATE 2026 Exam, which will be conducted by IIT Guwahati on February 7, 8, 14, and 15, 2026. The coaching initiative is organized by the SC-ST cell and is open to students from NIT Warangal as well as other engineering colleges in and around Warangal. The programme will run offline from November 17, 2025, to the last week of January 2026 and spans eight weeks, including sessions on Saturdays.

Registration Process and Required Documents
Students must submit offline application forms available at nitw.ac.in. The application should include personal and college details along with a passport-size photograph. Required documents:
- Caste certificate (SC/ST)
- College ID card or Aadhaar card
- GATE 2026 application form
- One passport-size photograph
Instructions and Guidelines
- All registered candidates will receive an ID card for attending classes.
- Regular weekly exams will be conducted on campus, and results will be announced weekly.
- Toppers will be recognized and awarded according to the department.
- Students maintaining 90–100% attendance will receive additional rewards.
- Missing four consecutive classes can lead to cancellation of admission.
About GATE 2026 Exam
The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2026 will be conducted in two shifts:
- Forenoon: 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM
- Afternoon: 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM
