NIT Rourkela has introduced two new BTech programmes in Semiconductor Technology and Computational Engineering from the 2026-27 academic session.
National Institute of Technology Rourkela has introduced two new undergraduate engineering programmes for the 2026-27 academic session. The institute announced the launch of BTech courses in Semiconductor Technology and Computational Engineering (Physics and Mathematics Computing).
The new programmes aim to align engineering education with emerging industry demands in semiconductor manufacturing, artificial intelligence, advanced computing, and data-driven technologies. Admissions to these courses will be conducted through Joint Entrance Examination Main counselling.
