The NIT Calicut 22nd Convocation 2026 was held at the institute campus, marking a major milestone for the National Institute of Technology Calicut. The convocation ceremony recognised students from BTech, MTech, PhD, MSc, MBA, BArch and MPlan programmes. The graduating batch included 1,162 BTech students, 575 MTech students, 136 PhD scholars, 102 MSc students, 76 MBA graduates, 65 BArch students and 18 MPlan students.

Nandana Anand, a BTech Computer Science student, emerged as the top undergraduate performer. She received the Er. M.L. Bapna Gold Medal along with the Prof. Allesu Kanjirathinkal Memorial Award.

Gold medals were also awarded to toppers from different undergraduate branches, including BArch, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering and Engineering Physics.
