NIRF 2025 Category-Wise Rankings 

In the NIRF 2025 Rankings, IIT Madras is the top institute in engineering, while IIM Ahmedabad leads management. In medical colleges, AIIMS Delhi is ranked first, and in law, NLSIU Bengaluru holds the top spot. Categoy-wise ranking for all the institutes has been provided below.

NIR 2025 Engineering Ranking: Top 5 Universities 

The Engineering category of NIRF 2025 continues to be dominated by IITs. IIT Madras leads with a score of 90.10, followed by IIT Bombay and IIT Delhi. IIT Kanpur and IIT Kharagpur complete the top five.

NIR 2025 Management Ranking: Top 5 Institutions

In the Management rankings, the IIMs once again occupy the top spots. IIM Ahmedabad retains the first position with 92.40. IIM Lucknow and XLRI Jamshedpur also secured places in the top five

NIR 2025 Medical Ranking: Top 5 Colleges 

The Medical category saw AIIMS Delhi reaffirming its dominance with a score of 91.50. It is followed by PGIMER Chandigarh and CMC Vellore, while Maulana Azad Medical College and King George’s Medical University round up the list.

NIR 2025 Law Ranking: Top 5 Institutions

In the Law category, NLSIU Bengaluru remains the country’s top law school, scoring 90.00. It is followed by NALSAR Hyderabad and NLU Delhi, with WBNUJS Kolkata and NLU Jodhpur completing the top five.
