NIOS Practical Exam Date Sheet 2026 Released for Class 10, 12

NIOS has published the practical exam date sheet 2026 for Secondary and Senior Secondary courses. The Class 10 and 12 practical examinations will be conducted from 17 March to 1 April 2026, while theory dates are expected later.

NIOS Practical Exam Date Sheet 2026 Released for Class 10, 12

NIOS practical exam date sheet 2026 has been officially released for both Secondary and Senior Secondary courses. Students enrolled in Class 10 and Class 12 can now check the detailed schedule for practical examinations to be held in March–April 2026. The schedule has been published by the National Institute of Open Schooling on its official website.

 

NIOS Practical Exam 2026 Dates and Schedule

As per the official notification, the NIOS practical examinations for the March 2026 session will be conducted over a period of more than two weeks. Students must appear for their practicals as per the subject-wise dates allotted to them.

  • NIOS Class 10 practical exam dates: 17 March 2026 to 1 April 2026
  • NIOS Class 12 practical exam dates: 17 March 2026 to 1 April 2026

The board has also clarified that the NIOS theory exam date sheet 2026 will be released separately in March 2026.

 

Steps to Download NIOS Practical Date Sheet 2026

Students can download the official practical examination schedule by following the steps outlined below.

  • Visit the official website nios.ac.in
  • Go to the notification section on the homepage
  • Click on Notification regarding Practical Examination Datesheet – March 2026 (Secondary and Senior Secondary)
  • Open the PDF file containing the date sheet
  • Download and save the file for future reference

Students are advised to carefully read all instructions mentioned in the date sheet PDF.

 

Subject-wise NIOS Practical Exam Schedule Highlights

The practical examinations will be conducted in multiple phases based on subject categories.For Class 10, subjects include Science and Technology, Home Science, Mathematics, Data Entry Operations, Painting, and various vocational courses. For Class 12, practicals will cover subjects such as Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Geography, Computer Science, Mass Communication, Physical Education, Environmental Science, and several skill-based and vocational programmes. Important Instructions for Students

Students must report to their allotted practical examination centres as per the schedule provided by their study centres.Admit cards, identity proof, and necessary practical files or records must be carried on the examination day as instructed by NIOS.
