The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has officially released the date sheet for Class 10 and Class 12 public exams 2025. The examinations are scheduled to be conducted from October 14 to November 18, 2025, in offline mode. NIOS Class 10, 12 Exam Dates 2025 Confirmed
The Class 10 (Secondary) and Class 12 (Senior Secondary) theory exams will begin on October 14, 2025, and will conclude on November 18, 2025. The practical exams were already conducted in September 2025 across designated examination centres.

Hall Tickets for NIOS Exams 2025: Download Instructions
NIOS will release hall tickets/admit cards for Class 10 and 12 theory exams through the official portal. Candidates will need to enter their enrolment number to download the hall ticket. Here is how students can download it:
- Visit sdmis.nios.ac.in
- Click on “Public Exam Hall Ticket”
- Enter 12-digit enrolment number
- Select the course (Secondary/Senior Secondary)
- Click on “Submit” to download and print the hall ticket
Students must carry a printed copy of the admit card along with a valid ID to the examination centre.
NIOS Class 10, 12 Results 2025: Expected in December
According to the official notice, NIOS results for Class 10 and 12 are likely to be announced seven weeks after the last exam, which puts the tentative result date around late December 2025. Once declared, results will be accessible through the official NIOS portal, SMS service, and NIOS mobile app.
NIOS Class 10, 12 Mark Sheets and Certificates
NIOS will issue digital and physical copies of mark sheets and passing certificates to successful candidates. The distribution process will differ based on the status of the student's Accredited Institute (AI):
- For students enrolled through active AIs, documents will be sent to the institutes.
- For students from cancelled or non-functional AIs, documents will be sent directly to their home addresses via post.
