The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has commenced the NIOS Board Exam 2025 for Class 10 and 12 from October 14, 2025. The exams will be conducted at various centres across India. Most papers will be held in a single shift from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm, while some papers will conclude earlier, from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm. The Class 12 exams will begin with Early Childhood Care and Education, and the Class 10 exams will start with Sanskrit Sahitya/Entrepreneurship. The examination schedule will continue until November 18, 2025.
Important Guidelines for NIOS Board Exam 2025
- Hall Ticket: Candidates must carry the hall ticket issued by NIOS to the exam centre.
- Reporting Time: Arrive at the exam centre as per the timing mentioned on the admit card.
- Stationery: Carry only permitted items like pens and other stationery mentioned in the admit card.
- Prohibited Items: Electronic gadgets, mobile phones, and other banned items are strictly prohibited.
Result Declaration
- The results of NIOS Board Exam 2025 are expected seven weeks after the last exam date.
- Results will be available on the official NIOS website.
- Mark-Sheet-cum-Certificate and Migration-cum-Transfer Certificate will be sent directly to candidates through their respective Accredited Learning Centres (ALCs).
- In case of cancelled ALCs, documents will be dispatched by post to the candidate’s registered residential address via the respective Regional Centre.
