NIIT University (NU) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Addverb Technologies to strengthen industry-academia collaboration in emerging technologies, including Robotics, Automation, and Artificial Intelligence (AI). As per the official release, NU and Addverb Technologies will work together to:
- Establish long-term industry–academia collaboration to bridge the gap between education and the workforce.
- Provide knowledge-intensive, job-oriented education for students in Robotics & Automation.
- Enhance employability through hands-on projects, live industry exposure, and structured learning.
Academic Collaboration and Centre of Excellence
The two organisations will co-develop B.Tech and M.Tech programs in specialized areas. They will also set up a Centre of Excellence (CoE) at NU, dedicated to research, innovation, and startup incubation. Prof. Prakash Gopalan, President of NIIT University, said:
“This partnership with Addverb Technologies will enable our students to gain direct exposure to cutting-edge technologies, live projects, and industry best practices, ensuring they graduate with future-ready skills. It strengthens our commitment to academia-industry linkages that nurture innovation, problem-solving, and entrepreneurship. By integrating real-world experiences, we are preparing our students not just for their first jobs, but for long-term leadership in robotics, automation, and AI.”
