The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) has added two new examination cities for the NIFT Entrance Examination 2026 (NIFTEE 2026). With this update, the total number of exam centres has increased to 102 cities across India. The entrance examination is scheduled to be conducted on February 8, 2026.

The additional centres have been introduced to provide greater convenience and accessibility to candidates appearing for the national-level design entrance exam.
Option to Change Exam City During Correction Window
Candidates who have already submitted their NIFT 2026 application form and selected a different exam city will be allowed to modify their choice. The change can be made during the application correction window, which will open after the closure of the registration process. According to the official schedule, the NIFT 2026 application correction window will remain open from January 12 to January 14, 2026.

The application process for NIFT Entrance Examination 2026 is currently underway. Eligible candidates can submit their forms through the official examination portals of NIFT and the National Testing Agency. Applicants are advised to carefully review their exam city preferences during the correction period, as no further changes will be permitted once the window closes.
