The NIELIT 2026 O, A, B and C Level theory examinations have started from 10 January 2026 across India. The exams are being conducted in computer-based mode at designated centres.

NIELIT 2026 O/A/B/C Level Theory Examinations Begin, marking the start of the January 2026 examination cycle. The examinations commenced on 10 January 2026 and will continue till 18 January 2026 at designated NIELIT examination centres across the country. The exams are being conducted in computer-based mode, and candidates are required to strictly follow the schedule and instructions mentioned on their admit cards.

 

NIELIT 2026 Exam Schedule for January Cycle

The National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology has announced separate schedules for different levels under the January 2026 examination cycle. Candidates are advised to note the level-wise exam dates carefully. The table below provides an overview of the NIELIT 2026 theory examination schedule.

NIELIT 2026 Examination Mode Details

The NIELIT O Level examination is being conducted as a computer-based online test. For A, B and C Levels, the examinations are also being conducted in online mode for specified modules as per the notified schedule. Each question paper is based on the official NIELIT syllabus and follows the prescribed marking scheme for the respective level.

 

NIELIT 2026 Exam Day Guidelines for Candidates

Candidates appearing for the NIELIT 2026 examinations are required to reach the exam centre at least 30 minutes before the reporting time mentioned on the admit card. Entry to the examination hall is permitted only after verification of the admit card and a valid photo identity proof. Strict frisking may be conducted at certain centres. Candidates are advised not to carry mobile phones, electronic devices, bags, notes, or any study material inside the examination hall. Before the exam begins, on-screen instructions are displayed. Candidates must read these instructions carefully and follow all guidelines related to navigation, exam duration, and final submission of responses.

 

Important Instructions for NIELIT 2026 Candidates

The exam date, paper code, reporting time, and centre details mentioned on the admit card are final and must be followed strictly. Any deviation from the prescribed instructions may lead to disqualification. Candidates are advised to remain calm, follow the examination rules carefully, and complete the test within the allotted time as per official guidelines.
