The National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) has announced the detailed schedule for the January 2026 O, A, B, and C Level examinations. Registered candidates can submit their Online Examination Application Forms (OEAF) between November 3 and 15, 2025. The upcoming session will include both theory and practical examinations, conducted in online mode for most levels. Candidates are advised to complete the registration process well before the last date to avoid technical issues.

How to Apply for NIELIT O, A, B, and C Level Exams 2026?
Registered candidates can fill and submit the Online Examination Application Form (OEAF) through the official portal – student.nielit.gov.in. The submission process includes the following steps:
- Log in to the student portal and select the appropriate level (O/A/B/C).
- Fill in the required details carefully and upload necessary documents.
- Pay the prescribed examination fee via Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT).
- Verify all details before final submission, as no modifications will be allowed later.
A form processing fee of INR 100 will be charged in addition to the theory and practical exam fees. Candidates may also use Common Service Centres (CSCs) for application submission and payment.
Exam Instructions and Key Guidelines
NIELIT has urged candidates and institutes to review the updated examination guidelines and revised exam pattern implemented from the July 2022 session. Institutes must verify candidate information and forward applications with fee payments through onlineaccr.nielit.gov.in. Candidates should also note:
- Examination centres cannot be changed after submission.
- All exams for O and A Levels (A1-R5 to A4-R5) will be held online.
- Applications submitted after the due date will not be accepted.
