NHTET 2025 Registration; Apply Now for Hotel Management Eligibility

The National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT) has officially started the NHTET 2025 registration process, opening the gateway for candidates aspiring to secure Assistant Lecturer and Teaching Associate eligibility across Central and State IHMs. The exam is compulsory for recruitment in all IHMs governed by NCHMCT, making the registration phase significant for hospitality graduates. According to the details released, the NHTET 2025 application form is now available online, and eligible candidates can apply by paying the prescribed fee and submitting required documents within the announced schedule.

NHTET 2025 Eligibility Criteria and Key Requirements (with Keywords)

NCHMCT has released updated eligibility conditions to maintain quality standards in hospitality education. Only candidates meeting all requirements are allowed to apply. The criteria have multiple layers including educational qualifications, age limit, and category-wise relaxations. Before the bullet list, it is important to understand that NHTET serves as a qualifying test rather than a recruitment exam, and clearing it only makes candidates eligible to apply for teaching posts. The eligibility verification happens during document checking, so applicants must ensure accuracy in all submitted information. Any mismatch in marksheets, caste certificates, or date-of-birth records can lead to disqualification during later stages.

Educational Qualification (as released by NCHMCT):

• Full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality/Hotel Management after 03 years OR Postgraduate in Hospitality/Hotel Administration after 01 year.
• Minimum 55% marks, with 05 attempts allowed to clear the qualifying exam.

Age Limit (Category-wise):

• General: Max 35 years
• OBC (NCL): Max 38 years
• SC/ST/PwD: Max 40 years
• Age will be calculated as on the cut-off date mentioned in the notification.

NHTET 2025 Application Fee and Payment Details (with Keywords)

NCHMCT has prescribed separate application fees for each category. Applicants must ensure timely payment as incomplete payment leads to rejection of the application form. Since the exam is conducted nationally across IHMs, fee guidelines are standardized for transparency and accessibility. Below are the official category-wise fees:

Application Fee:

• Male (General/OBC): INR 807
• Male (SC/ST/EWS): INR 604
• Female/PwD (all categories): INR 453

NHTET 2025 Exam Structure, Certificate Validity, and Recruitment Scope

The exam is designed to assess teaching aptitude, hospitality knowledge, and communication skills across multiple subjects. Candidates qualifying the test receive an NHTET e-certificate, enabling them to apply for Assistant Lecturer and Teaching Associate vacancies in IHMs under NCHMCT. The certificate remains valid for all recruitment cycles until the candidate crosses the permissible age limit for their respective post.
