NERIST NEE 2026 notification has been officially released by the North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology. As per the announced schedule, online registration for the NERIST Entrance Examination (NEE) 2026 will begin from 09 January 2026. Eligible candidates seeking admission to engineering and allied programmes will be able to submit their applications once the registration window opens. The entrance examination for the 2026 session is scheduled to be conducted in April 2026.
NERIST NEE 2026 Registration and Exam Schedule
The official notification outlines all important milestones related to the NEE 2026 admission cycle. Candidates are advised to adhere strictly to the deadlines to avoid disqualification.
Candidates who successfully complete the application process will be issued admit cards from 14 April 2026, which will be mandatory for entry to the examination centre.
NERIST NEE 2026 Application Fee and Eligibility
Applicants must complete the registration process by paying the prescribed examination fee in online mode. The application fee structure for NEE 2026 is as follows:
- General / OBC / EWS candidates: INR 1,500 (plus transaction charges)
- SC / ST / PwD candidates: INR 1,000 (plus transaction charges)
Only candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria specified in the notification will be allowed to appear for the examination.
