The North East Regional Institute of Education (NERIE), NCERT, Shillong has released the final counselling schedule for BEd admission 2025. Out of a total of 55 seats, nearly 45 have already been filled in the earlier rounds. The final counselling will be conducted for the remaining seats on October 3, 2025, at the institute campus. The provisional selection list has been uploaded on the official website, nerie.nic.in. Shortlisted candidates must appear in person for counselling with all required original documents.

Candidates failing to report at the given time will lose their provisional selection. No requests for extension or date changes will be entertained.
Documents Required for NERIE NCERT Shillong BEd Counselling 2025
Candidates must carry the following original documents along with one set of photocopies for verification:
- CEE Score Card/Result Card
- Transfer/Leaving Certificate and Conduct Certificate
- Mark sheets and Certificates from High School onwards
- Caste/Category Certificate (SC/ST/OBC/PH/EWS) with valid non-creamy layer proof for OBC
- Permanent Residential Certificate and Family Income Certificate (2025–26)
- Three passport-size photographs
- Migration Certificate (if applicable)
- Anti-ragging affidavits from the candidate and parents on non-judicial stamp paper
- Medical fitness certificate from a government medical officer
- Relieving order (for employed candidates)
Fees to be Paid at Admission
Candidates selected in the final counselling must pay the fee on the same day.
Failure to submit original documents or pay the fee will result in cancellation of admission.
Important Instructions for Candidates
- Only candidates meeting the minimum eligibility marks in the qualifying exam will be considered.
- All certificates must be from UGC-recognised institutions.
- Admissions will be cancelled if any document is found fake at any stage.
- Students availing scholarships must stay in the NERIE hostel, where accommodation will be allotted on priority.
